Welcome to the weekly giveaway!
As usual, great comments last week! 🙂
I’m always surprised by the variety of answers.
There were lots of great memories with the TV shows you mentioned, and maybe we should all swap household chores – so that we could avoid the ones we dislike the most! lol
This week’s giveaway is a fun and funky pendant with shades of lavender and swirls of raspberry-pink.
The focal point is a vintage West German Glass Teardrop bead, which is accented with Swarovski crystals. The pendant is suspended from an artisan-crafted sterling silver bail that should accommodate most chains in your collection. Or perhaps you’ll wear it on a leather or satin cord!
Measurements: approximately 2-1/4″ long – including the sterling silver bail.
Contest Rules and How To Enter
This week, you will have up to four (4) chances to enter the weekly giveaway.
You can choose any or all of the following 4 ways to enter:
1st Chance:
Leave a comment answering the first weekly question: If you could go back in time, how far back would you go?
2nd Chance:
Leave a comment answering the second weekly question: When your dinner plate has a selection of different foods on it, do you usually mix all the foods together, or do you eat a little bit of each one until you are finished, or do you prefer to eat all of one type of food before moving on to eat all of the second one, etc.?
3rd Chance:
Subscribe to this blog (See the orange RSS “Subscribe” button on the right side of this page). Then leave a comment here, saying that you have subscribed! (If you are already a subscriber – you only need to leave a comment saying so 🙂 )
4th Chance:
Leave a comment on any other post on this blog. It can be left on a recent post or an old post. There are over 140 posts – take a peek at the “Categories” on the right side of the page for choices. You can leave all of your comments today, or you can come back during the week to see what’s new and leave them then.
Please note: You do NOT have to tell me that you left a “comment” on another post. The blog program shows me all of the “comments” as they come in – so I do not miss any of them! 🙂
Of course, I’d be very delighted to receive as many comments as you want to leave, but only three will count as chances in this week’s giveaway.

I’m a subscriber and I LOVE that PURPLE pendant! Where do you get the bails?
Go back in time in MY life, or back in time in general?
Complex questions!!
In my life, and I don’t know then what I know now….High School. I would take it all more seriously and go to college. I was one of those don’t have to study to get staight A’s kind of people. I didn’t think I could come up with $$ to go to college for 100 reasons so I graduated and continued to work.
If I knew then what I know now…I would not go back. All experiences I have had have made me who I am today. I haven’t liked myself sometimes along the way and made mistakes, but I LOVE me now so thats good enough for me.
Back in history? The old west. Somewhere in Arizona, or Colorado or Wyoming. I want to be there, but NOT as a farmer. I would live in town.
I would love to be able to say I eat a little at a time of each item. That seems like what a normal person would do. But no, I eat one thing at a time starting with what I think I would like the best and just every once in a while I take a bite of something else. Weirdo, huh!
Question number 1: I don’t think that I would go back in time. I’m a big fan of modern technology and living now. As much as I loved the beautiful dresses of past ages, then I remember that they didn’t have air condition…or deodorant…
Question number 2: I normally eat a little bit of each food, although I don’t always finish the ones that I don’t like.
I subscribe to your RSS feed.
If I could go back in time I’d go back to when I was 15 and start things over. That’s when my life went downhill.
Thank you!
It depends what’s on my plate. Thanksgiving Dinner gets made into a big mush of everything. Tonight, on the other hand, I ate my risotto separate from my chicken and my broccoli. BUT I put my sauce on everything.
Thank you!
I’m not sure exactly how far back I would go but it wouldn’t be that far…I need my computer and DVR! LOL
I eat around the plate with very few exceptions.
If I could go back in time, I’d go back about 150 years. I really like hats and I’d like to live in a time where there are millinery stores everywhere.
I eat around the plate. I used to stick to one food at a time, but that got boring.
And I subscribe!
I would love to go back to the 1800’s. To live a life of no technology would be great. Just to work hard on the land and have family be first.
2. I eat a mixed amount of food. If there are potatoes though I mix all my veggies in to make it more tasty.
I subscribed!
If I could go back in time, I think I’d have to go back to the beginning, and see who’s right 😉
hmm, i usually eat a little bit of each one and then decide what order i want them in
If I were to go back in time I would go back no more than a week; just enough to catch up on my work (or rather, to not fall behind on my second go-around). I am pretty happy with my life right now, fortunately!
Oh, when I eat I tend to eat “combo” bites. I don’t mix my food on my plate, but will have half a forkful or one thing with half a forkful of something else. I just keep going like that until everything is gone.
if i could go back in time…i wouldnt. i have no regrets.
i usually eat one thing at a time. and im weird—they cant touch each other!!! hahah
How far back would I go? I think I’m very happy right where I am and enjoying every moment of life.
I’m definitely not a mixer ~ too messy looking. I think I do a little bit of each one. But it depends sometimes I just gobble up the most delicious one first!
i don’t think i would go back in my own history as i would not change anything or i would not be the me i am today. any further and i would not be alive because my birth defect would not have allowed me. as to the future, don’t want to go there either…i want to be surprised.
drives my family nuts but i’ve done it all my life…i each one thing at a time (most of the time)
I would go back in time to the fifties
In answer to the second question, I would eat a little bite of each until finished
It depends. If I can come back again then I would go to the 1940s-1950s! In my life, I wouldn’t mind going through high school as long as I still end up the way I am now. I think I would just spend more time with my grandma though.
More times than not I eat all of one type before I move on to the next thing but I do try to make the effort occasionally to mix things up so my food won’t get cold.
#1 hmm… i would go back to the 1800s, just to see what it was like.
#2 i always eat a bit of everything… sometimes mixed together, but that depends on my mood!
Wouldnt go anywhere before women had some sort of equality.
Possibly only back to the eighties.
All my food has to be seperate, I will eat pasta with sauce and potatoes and gravy with meat. But mostly seperate, leaving fave food until last.
I subscribed !
I’d go back to the 90’s because now I’d be able to enjoy more this time.
I usually eat a little bit of everything that is in my plate.
1. If you could go back in time, how far back would you go?
If I must, I would go back to the moment when I was still a child. Eat, sleep and being loved… Awww…
2. When your dinner plate has a selection of different foods on it, do you usually mix all the foods together, or do you eat a little bit of each one until you are finished, or do you prefer to eat all of one type of food before moving on to eat all of the second one, etc.?
Let’s say we have sweet and sour pork, salad + yew-char-koey, omelet fry, sweet and sour fish fries and ‘kailan'(a type of veggie). I’ll take a bite of my pork and then a piece of yew-char-koey, and followed by a piece of fish fry and a spoonful of veggies. I think it’s nice to eat them separately, a little bit every time. It makes me want to have another bite until I’m full.
I would love to be in 1500’s to observe Henry VIII and all his chaos.
I eat a little bit of each. But I often save the best till last but i make sure i don’t fill up on the other choices.
I successfully subscribed. I didn’t think I could do it!
I will go back to my teen time because that’s the time study is most important and I chose the wrong subject back then.
If I could go back in time I would go back to when I was 16 years old and appreciate it this time, and not push things to fast.
I would go back to my teenage years and make some different choices.
I usually eat all of one item and then go on to the next item on my plate.
I eat a little bit of everything at a time until I finish.
I want to be a child forever, so going back to age 3 or 4 and when I hit puberty, I want to go back again to 3, and again and again…
The going back in time question is tough. My biggest regret happened when I was sixteen, so maybe if I could go back to that time and do it differently? Thanks for the chance to win!
I eat a little bit of each thing. Anytime someone mixes everything together, it reminds me of my grandpa because that is what he did!
