Greetings everyone!
Welcome to week eleven of the Monday Giveaways. Many of you have written to say that you’re having lots of fun with the giveaway questions. Me too! 🙂 I’ll be sure to keep ’em coming.
Your thoughtful, sweet, and sometimes hilarious answers are all very much appreciated. Please stop back during the week, when you can. You’ll find a variety of topics and, as always, I love hearing your comments and suggestions.
This week’s giveaway is a beautiful crystal pendant!
This delicate pendant features sparkling Swarovski crystals in luscious shades of lilac purple – with a gorgeous ‘butterfly’ shaped crystal as the focal point.
Perfect to remind you that Spring will be here, eventually!
It will, right? . . . RIGHT??? 😉
The generous bail is sterling silver and should fit many of the chains that you already own. Or, maybe you’ll place it on a silk or leather cord, or a piece of velvet ribbon for a look that’s trés chic! The Pendant measures 1-1/4″ long, including the bail.

O this is so hard. Traveling. I have never been anywhere. I will have be foxy on this one…I want to go to Southern California to meet my cyberfriend, Deb. We met on my space and have become BFF and talk on the phone everyday. She lives near LA. But I also want to see a lot of America. (I have no desire to go foreign). So I would have to take an Am Track vacation for an unlimited amount of time and wind around the country so I could hit The Wisconsin Dells, The Mississippi River, The Dakotas (I must see the mounuments) The Grand Canyon and the Secoia Forest. That just about wraps it up. Maybe we should drive so I can add spots on the way.
How can you think you own too many of anything? If you thought that, wouldn’t you get rid of what you thought you had too many of?
Now, my husand. I think he’s got too much of a lot of stuff!
Do you have any idea how many Hot Wheel cars still in the plastic are in our attic? O, you are getting me started! Or how many coffee cans he has filled with nuts, bolts, washers and nails that he has picked up here and there and collected just because he might need it someday? And how many tool boxes does a guy really need? And he just can’t pass up a good deal on a drill.
But I don’t have too many of anything…you believe me don’t ya!
Well, there are alot of things that I could write about here. Some more personal than I would want to write about.
There is a blog I follow

I sent Jonna some pieces of leather that I had. In return, and unexpectedly, she sent to me a bag of beautiful agate rocks that she collected and tumbled. They are beautiful and precious to her. It was very special to me that she shared them with me. If you visit her blog and read from the beginning you would understand why I feel so honored. Jonna has a special place in my heart.

If I could travel any place, I would go to Egypt to see the Pyramids.

When I lost my first granddaughter at the age of 4 and another grandbaby that died at birth I did not want to live anymore. If not for my family finding me help I would not be here today. Now I have 9 other grandchildren and I am really thankful that they were there for me.
The Chateau de Versailles! We did a little study on it in French class a while ago. The whole structure of the place, interior design, MASSIVE garden (complete with fountains) is just absolutely awe-inspiring.
…Hmm… I don’t own a lot of anything… except random bits of paper which I write ideas on. And then lose. And find again when I don’t need them.
Thank goodness. I have a notebook now. I’m ORGANISED.

Hmmm…one thing I own too many of? Mucus!
I can use up to 5 sachets of tissue every morning! And this is because of a nasal problem called sinus that has been troubling me for 6 years.
My friends used to stare at the pile of used tissues on my table and ask
“What’s that?”
And I’ll answer “Freshly made wantan (a type of dumpling). Do you want it?”
Quickly, they’ll turn theirs heads and walk away. I always laugh when I recall back these incidents!
It was a few weeks ago…
Late in the midnight…I tossed and turned in my cold bed, trying to hynoptise myself. (I’m an insomniac.)
Suddenly, my head began to ache severely. The pain was so intense that I got up of my bed and tried to massage my temples. However, the pain won’t go off. So, I lay helplessly on my bed, waiting for the pain to cease itself.
Fifteen minutes later, the door knob was turned and the door opened. A figure walked in. It was my dad!
I told him what happened to me and quietly, he sat down beside me and started to massage my temples. I was so touched that my eyes were filled with tears in an instant. But I closed my eyelids immediately, trying to hide my tears…
From this incident, I realised that even though my father isn’t an expert in expressing his love to his children, but his actions are far more than enough to proof that he really cares for us.
Thank you, papa, for everything!
England. I absolutely love it there.
Not sure if you want to call it owning, but I have too many cats and dogs. I am a rescuer.
God let me live another day and is teaching me to be more positive.
I would love to go to Switzerland…the Alps!
I own WAY too much fabric…but still I think I don’t have enough!
