In appreciation of all of the wonderful comments that you are leaving here on the blog, I’m going to continue the “giveaways”! 🙂
Here’s a beautiful pendant which features an artisan-crafted lampwork glass bead as its focal point.
The bead has glass ribbons of emerald green and royal ocean blue swirling through its center, and it’s encased in clear glass – to add a touch of glossy shine!
The pendant is accented with emerald-colored Swarovski crystals and gorgeous sterling Bali bead caps. All of the metal components are sterling silver ! The bail is a generous size and should fit on most of the chains that you own. Or maybe you have a black cord, or you’ll buy a piece of satin ribbon and wear it high on the neck for a look that is trés chic!

Lessee… the perfect day…
I guess just a day-tour with the band (not MY band, OUR band which just equals THE band…) would be awesome. No, no, a day-tour with the band WITH Paramore to open/end performances AND Brett Manning to provide vocal aid. That would be THE PERFECT DAY.
Far-fetched, but awesome.
Oh, wow, I got first post! Lol.
Sayings… sayings… aw geez… I had a favourite one that I can’t remember for the life of me…
OH! OH!
“Kind words do not cost much, yet they accomplish much.” – Blaise Pascal. I guess it’s kinda like an elaborated, matured version of “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”, but it’s so TRUE and people ALWAYS seem have trouble following it!
Although, instead of saying a WHOLE SENTENCE *Shock/horror* over and over again, I usually tell others to just “Be nice. It’s not that hard.”
Okay, so now it’s a fave snack?
Aw geez, that’s real tricky. I’ll eat anything when I’m hungry.
Well, I suppose I do LOVE my Rice Puff and Peanut bars. They’re relatively healthy and oh-so-yum.
But then there’s popcorn… and rice crackers… and starburst…
…
Is that enough of an answer?
A perfect day. That’s funny. The older I get, the more I realize that you can make ANY day perfect. It all depends on your outlook. Make everyday perfect by just making the best of any situation!
I truly believe this.
My favorite snack is carmel corn. I never met a kernal of carmel corn I didn’t like. And you can get THE best in downtown Chicago. Really buttery wonderful carmel corn. Yep, that’s the best!
I can’t think of any saying from when I was a kid. That wasn’t too great a time for me.
But my favorite saying to my grandkids today is:
You don’t have to steal someone else’s light to shine. Then an explanation of why it applies to the situation at hand.
Hi Crystal!
A perfect day for me would be at a beach, not crowded, slight breeze, not too hot, with part shade and part sun. My husband and I would each be relaxing with a good book and some quiet music while the kids played nearby. They would be getting along with each other and not asking us for snacks every 15 minutes. Obviously, this will never happen! But I can dream…
A saying from childhood:
“What do you say to a fat lady in an elevator? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!”
Seems that when I was very little I was in an elevator with other people and I pointed at someone and loudly asked why she was so fat! (sorry, lady, wherever you are)
So now when my kids look like they are about to say something rude in public I remind them of this saying 🙂
Favorite snack~ anything chocolate except cake. Frosting is good, but not cake.
As far as a healthy alternative, I like to dip sliced apples into peanut butter.
My perfect day would be sleeping in a little, maybe till 8:30 or 9:00, going for a moderate run with my hubby in lovely fall weather when the leaves are just changing, going to the park with my daughter and hubby, having a pedicure, having sushi for lunch or dinner, or both!, and having time to read. Of course, by the time I’m at home reading that night it should be raining and we should havea a fire going in the fireplace. Aaaah!
Sadly, I have to admit that the saying I probably use the most is “That’s what she said.” It’s from “The Office”, just in case you hadn’t heard.
My favorite snack right now is homemade ice cream. We just got an ice cream maker for Christmas!
A perfect day would involve no stress! One that involves no work, lots of play and fun! A daytrip is always a good way to have a perfect day, I love going on daytrips to nature centers or walking on a wooded trail because its so relaxing listening to the animals! Thanks for entering me!
A saying I’ve heard most of my life is “Life is what you make it” although I’m not to fond of that saying. Thanks for entering me.
My favorite snack is grapefruit! I also love string cheese. Thanks for entering me.
A perfect day would be one when I didn’t have to work, I was with my family and my back doesn’t hurt. THanks for the giveaway!
I am a nurse so a saying I repeat a lot is “Everybody Poops!” Hey…I am being honest here.
My favorite snack is mustard pretzels. So good!
The perfect day would be one where I could sleep in!
My favorite snack right now is popcorn, yummm.
My perfect day would be on the beach, jetskiing, then fish tacos for lunch, a spa afternoon (massage,mani/pedi), and then sushi or steak for dinner. All of this with my husband.
a perfect day for me would be to see my mom happy again
“Molly, girl, you in danger” from Ghost
Beef jerky
Let’s see…my perfect day
I think this changes with my moods. But right now I would love to hop into the mustang and just cruise with my fiance. Not have a particular destination in mind….just go and see where we end up.
lets see…a saying…
Well I think one of my favs is one that has been in my head a lot lately, and it is a quote by Gandhi.
“An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”
Well I am ready to gross you all out with my favorite snack 😀 It is something my mom and I ate all the time when I was younger. Basically you put cottage cheese in a bowl, then you add frozen peas, olives, and ketchup. Yummmmmy!
To me a perfect day is one spent quilting! Thanks for the chance.
hmmm a perfect day. Sleeping late …. staying in jammies …. brownies for lunch …. dinner with my hubby …. movies and staying up late!
Perfect Day: Breakfast in Bed and Reading with my little boy.
70 degree sunny weather and a trip to the zoo
Lunch at a nice restaurant
A massage, facial, highlights and haircut (I’d go all out!)
A big brownie sundae for dinner
Cuddling and a movie with my little boy before bed
Saying: Hmmmm….
Life’s not fair…
Right now: Rice pudding with whipped cream (I’m pregnant)
Oh , these are SO FUN!!! : )
A perfect day is what my kids call a “happy day” – no-one is sick or has a sore anything, we aren’t grumpy or fighting, it’s not too hot or windy or rainy or cold. Doesn’t matter what we’re doing, or even if we aren’t doing anything. Those mellow, peaceful, easygoing days are the most perfect ones.
Haha – I would not have said that I say this! I asked my son what I say a lot, and according to him, it’s “Talk is cheap”. This would be my standard grouse when I, for example, complain that he isn’t helping me enough with a chore I hate, and he just says “sorry mom”, but still doesn’t come & give me a hand.
And my favourite snack (this week, ha) is a cheese quesadilla. Because they are so quick and easy to make, and everyone in my family likes them. Mind you, my two year old only uses them as an interestingly triangle shaped spoon for eating a pile of sour cream…hahaha! Me, I like guacamole with mine. : )
A perfect day is one that has sunshine and warmth and has my hubby home 🙂 That is just HEAVEN to me!! (I’m not too hard to make happy!!)
A perfect day for me would be taking my kiddos to the park when its about 75 degrees! Then maybe a picnic!
I tell my daughter “tough nuggets” alot!
My favorite snack is sliced apples with peanut butter and cinnamon!
The perfect day would be a day with my family doing something fun and there is no whining and complaining.
=) melanie
A perfect day would be one in which the phone doesn’t ring.

A saying I use a lot is ” Many hands make light work”.
A perfect day would be laying on a sunny beach with a fancy smacy drink in my hand with not a care in the world.
A perfect day would be warm, sunny, shared with the entire family, outdoors, talking, playing games and enjoying each others company!
The saying I heard a lot when I was growing up was “Your friend will come and go but family will always be there.”
My favorite snack is grated cheddar cheese melted on corn chips.
Wow what beautiful lampwork!
A perfect day involves absolutely no chores or comittments, and just time with loved ones.
A little piece of wisdom I love is, “A boy who makes you cry isn’t worth crying over, and a boy who’s worth crying over won’t make you cry.”
Honey on buttered toast is a great snack!
What makes a perfect day for me is the sun is shining and I’m happy.
