I’m so glad that I’ve been offering these giveaways! It’s a wonderful way to “meet” you, hear your opinions, and learn what topics interest you most. If you’ve enjoyed another post on the blog, besides the weekly giveaway, please leave a comment on it, too!
This week’s giveaway is a Necklace Set!
Vintage moonglow lucite beads are the focal points here. The colors are mouth-watering shades of light violet and soft aqua! Please note that the aqua color is actually a little more blue than it appears in my photo.
This pretty set has a vintage look and a delicate weight. Itโs perfect for anytime of the year, but especially nice in warm weather, when heavy fussy jewelry feels just too hot to wear!
The beads are such a sweet size โ 9mm, or about the size of a pea! They are baroque-style, which means they are not perfectly round, but have tiny little dimples or indentations here and there โ so cute! I have accented the Vintage Lucite Beads with Swarovski Crystals in coordinating shades of violet and aqua.
Measurements:
The Earrings measure 1-1/4″ in length, including the sterling silver earwires.
The Necklace measures 19″ in length, and has a textured toggle clasp.
Perfect for a gift . . . or maybe youโll keep it for yourself? ๐

Hello! My favorite book of all time is the Doomsday Book by Connie Willis. A gal travels back in time to an area where the Black Death is just about to strike, yet she remains blissfully unaware of what is about to happen. It’s a very neat peek into what life must have been like in the middle ages, from the cold, cold winters to the magic of the holidays. If you like time travel, then you will LOVE this book!
Something I made that turned out well … hmm … I would say it was a batch of Christmas cookies I call “Jolly Elves.” They are basically sugar cookies with a flavored “Dots” candy in the middle ๐
Oh wow…I LOVE to read. Right now I would recommend The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz. I really like this book. For those who like a bit of dry comic/horror stuff, I would recommend Wolfsbane and Brisbane Edited by Charlaine Harris. This one is an collection of stories by a bunch of authors.
