If you’ve been visiting here for a while, you know Clenna. She’s one of our regulars!
Clenna always tells us that she is not the least bit crafty. But after this post, I think you’ll agree she is a genius at choosing great craft projects!
Last month, she sent me a link to a project she thought I might like. Oh my – did I ever! It was almost Christmas though, so I made myself a note to try it after the holidays.
I bought the supplies last week and what fun I have had making this.
It began with a styrofoam ring and a skein of yarn (You just knew I’d work purple in somehow!) . . .
Then I played with some scraps of wool felt . . .
And voila! I had a pretty fabulous wreath!
Sorry if I sound like a proud parent here, but I am so thrilled with how this turned out.
It’s very easy to make and I can imagine it in all kinds of variations.
You’ll find the directions here.
Thank you Clenna! You are my current craft maven.
Hugs for all,

Clenna and Crystal that turned out beautiful. It has been so grey and cloudy here that the colors gave my mood a real boost. I can relate to Clenna, I don’t have talents for crafting either. I can barely keep up with my niece when she comes over and we do crafts together. Without the easy craft kits from Michaels, I would be out of luck.
ooo! So pretty and so Spring! Its gorgeous and I love the felt roses. Amazing how they just turned the wreath into something super special. Good choice Clenna.
xx, Carol
How beautiful! I love the roses; they “make” it!
I am not at all crafty either; my daughter is though, she can knit & crochet, sew and she loves to create things! I’m not sure where she gets it, certainly not from me.
wow lovely!I love the colours too.
Oh Crystal – it turned out beautifully. I would never have known what yarn to select but the one you picked is awesome! And those roses- so pretty and they absolutely make the wreath very different and so pretty.
Good job – now you have to make one and put it in a giveaway!
Tooth is much better! A little sore but doing great. Thanks for asking.
(For those who didn’t know I broke a crown off at the gum line, so had to have oral surgery! Painful for a couple of days but good now) PS I hate dentists but had to do it.
That is so gorgeous! I think I want to go make one now!
Oooooo – so nice. I really like that. LOVE your choice of colors and the flowers came out so nicely.
Hey!! Wait for me…
I saw your beautiful wreath but forgot to tell you how much I love it. I like that you used a wider styrofoam base for yours. The yarn stands out more.
Even though I am up to my eyeballs in fabric right now, I was tempted to set my rotary cutter now and go find my styrofoam and yarn.
Thanks, Clenna, such a pretty find.
What a gorgeous wreath! I hope you’re going to put it on your front door come Springtime! Sooo pretty, Crystal!
