This week I have another beautiful polymer clay pendant by Cheryl Harris to inspire your creative spirit!

This round, 3-dimensional pendant features a bouquet of flowers and leaves in pink, lavender, lt. brown, and taupe. The pendant is pierced from side to side. The accent beads shown are included. Add your own touches and create something wonderful!
Whether you add beads to make a colorful necklace, or you simply string the pendant all by itself on a purchased piece of leather or silk cord, the compliments will be rolling in!

The first movie- I can remember – was Grease. The closest theater was about an hour away, so it was a really big deal.
I am not sure if you meant dishes as in dirty – after dinner dishes or food dishes? I hate the dirty – after dinner kind, but the food type, well, I love Mexican (traditional) and oriental (traditional) types of food. My mom is a wonderful cook and I learned to cook many authentic dishes from her growing up – I just have a hard time cooking for our little family of 4, I usually cook for 20!!!! ohhhhh the leftovers!
As for the future blogs, my previous comment brought something to mind. How about a mini series on different countries beads? And not just the silver…Who makes the best crystal, where do this or that stone come from??

It might have been the Ten Commandments, Gone with the Wind, or the Tingler. I am not sure which was made first, but I remember seeing these at the show.
Then later, I remember seeing all the Elvis shows and I also remember going to see the Birdman of Alcatraz.
Dating myself even further…it cost 25 cents to get in, it ususally was a double feature and you could stay and see it again, all day long if you wanted to, at no additional charge.
The first movie I saw with my husband at a theatre was either Airplane or Dirty Harry.
Guess I am not too good at remembering “firsts” but I am positive I have “firsts” to remember…I just can’t remember which firsts they were!
Oh boo. Everyday dishes should be my fiesta. But Terry likes to eat in his recliner watching the news so he goes for melamine because they are easier for him to hold (his RA, you know).
I used to be a stickler for eating at the dining room table all together with the TV off, but now everyone is going in different directions for this or that class so we just can’t do that any more.
Personally, paper plates are OK for me!

I have absolutely no memory of the first movie I saw in theaters, at least not when I saw it in the theater: American Werewolf in London. According to my mom, I giggled the whole time, shouting “PUPPY!” every time the werewolf was on screen.
The first movie I remember seeing in a theater was ET, which terrified me. Those medical people! With the quarantine tubes! Aiiiieee!

I’ll assume you mean the actual dishes? I have some horrible old beat up plastic ones, and some very plain white Corel dishes. I like ’em ok. But I LOVE my handmade mugs and bowls; I plan to someday own nothing but handmade ceramic and glass dishes, making some artists very happy.:)

the dishes at home were a gift from a family friend. white porcelain with blue flowers and birds, all very delicate and pretty.
My earliest memory of going to the movies was YEARS ago as a young child with my older sister and brother. Every Saturday we would go to watch cartoons for several hours on the big screen for just 25 cents. And candy was a penny. So much fun. This was before TV was saturated with cartoons. It might even have been before TV. LOL!! Late 40’s, early 50’s.
The first movie that I remember seeing in a movie theater was “Bambi!”
I will never forget how sad I was when the hunter killed Bambi’s mother.

First movie I saw in the theater… well, hmmm. I think Bambi? My grandmother took me and was so worried that Bambi’s mother’s death traumatized me for life. 🙂
The dishes we use every day are off white with blue and white flowers around the outside. They are the same ones we used growing up- my parents gave them to us when we got married. They are old, but still work just as well.
The first movie I ever saw in a theater…Sleeping Beauty. That is the first one I sat all the way through! If the movie had an animal in it I didn’t get past the first couple minutes because I didn’t want to see them hurt!
We use Corelle dishes that have muted autumn colored fruits on a beige background. They are easy to mix and match with solid colors found in the pattern and are hard to break (a must in our family).
A topic for a future post…color mixing. Tha’s a big stumpling block for me. What goes with what.

I do not remember the first movie I saw in a theater. However, it was at the only theater in town, and is no longer in existence.
The first movie i saw in a theater was E.T., ever since then it’s been my very favorite childhood movie, i still love it, i always will! i was three years old when i first saw it, [yes i have good memory, i remember things back from when i was that young 😉 ]
The set of dishes that we use are big round black dishes with some flower designs on the edges of the dishes, i love them, my husband’s dad gave them to us, and i appreciate them even more because of that. I love black with a contrast of other colors on it, these dishes look so classy and elegant.

My everyday dishes are simple- ecru color with a brown trim.
I can’t remember the first movie I saw….how sad is that. I do remember my parents taking us, but I just can’t remember what it was for the life of me. I know it had to be a cartoon though.
I HATE my dishes. They are a Wal-Mart special. Extremely heavy and starting to chip at the edges. They are white with a simple blue line circling the dishes. I cannot wait to be able to purchase the dishes I want!

I use corningware dishes, this set is offwhite with a thin black band. I love them for many reasons -they stack amazingly, they are light weight and I can drop them on tile many times with only 1 break (a bowl) in years.

The dishes I use are a stone set, that’s kind of a morracan goldenrod color with some colurful fruit painted on. 🙂

The brand of my dishes is called ‘HIP Amsterdam’, they are white and plain, I especially chose them to fit with my china tea and high tea teacups en saucers in all kinds of colours and prints.
