I’ll say that i like reading about what inspired the artists to make the earrings. I don’t make anything myself (not a very crafty person sadly!) so i always find it so amazing & wonderful the items people make. π
To have a stress free holiday, let loose! Ok, not literally but don’t think too much about what you’re buying & the prices of stuff. It’s something makes you happier to just buy stuff without thinking. Anyway, it’s the holidays! π Christmas only comes once a year..
My favorite holiday tradition is that we’re come together to celebrate at my uncle’s house, so it’s like a nice family gathering. I don’t get to see a lot of my relatives throughout the year so i think this helps in family bonding!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I love reading about exciting stuff that happened in a person’s life! Life can be a bit boring nowadays… So reading something different perks me up!
Hmmm. To have a fun stress-free holiday, always make careful preparation ahead of time! This allows one to enjoy to the fullest yet follow the schedule. Hope that helps!
Don’t seem to have a favorite family tradition. I do know that this coming christmas, we’ll be having a lot of food & a big turkey though!
Oh wow. another giveaway? How generous!
Probably anything with pictures! I like to see what’s happening through pictures.
If you’re going somewhere cold for the holidays, do bring warm clothes! I made the mistake of packing too thin clothes last year so that really stressed me out! BRRRRR….
1) I love to read why people enjoy what they do. Its nice to know what inspires people and see how much love goes into their work.:)
2) My hint for stress is to remember that the holidays are about FAMILY. My family loves me and they arent going to care if everything doesnt turn out perfect. They might make fun of me for years to come about burnt cookies but they will also try the cookies…… depending on the burn level. lol
3) My favorite family tradition is my husband makeing “French Breakfast Puffs” on Christmas morning. These were something that I had never had (or heard of) until meeting him and now it is one of the main things that the kids, my mom and I all look forward to the most. And the smell in the house as we open gifts together is just wonderful. π
i love to read about how a person’s day went…whether at work, at home, with family and kids…it’s always fun to read!
for a stress-free holiday, i recommend doing your shopping throughout the year when you see a good sale going on. i hate leaving things until the last minute!
our family’s favorite holiday tradition is watching our favorite holiday movies. the grinch never gets boring and the kids love it!
oh i love reading about people’s pets and the silly things they get up to
I love it when people do product reviews so then i know what products work and are liked before i put down money for it
i love when people have recipies and they show us how to cook it and the end result! it always makes me so hungry and i love trying new recipies from different cultures!
for no stress holidays buy your gifts early!!
a favorite holiday tradition is going to help out at the hospital by singing carols to the patients!
I most enjoy reviews and personal stories that involve kids, especially babies!
so to narrow it down, babies product reviews!
I like reading funny stories and also love seeing all the wonderful and lovely jewelry to inspire me with my style of fashion
Stress-free holiday? Well, book everything in advance and read up on what you’ll love to do.. all in advance! Planning will make everything less stressful. Oh, and if things do not go as planned, don’t stress!!! Just try to go with the flow at that moment π
Our fave holiday tradition is where all my family, aunts and uncles included, gather at my grandparents house. My cousins and I will have a lot of fun playing games and eating!
I like reading about how to decorate and create things for the home and gifts.
For stress free holiday plan in advance, get as much accomplished in advance and expect something to go wrong. Then enjoy!
Our favourite holiday tradition is the Christmas Pickle. On Christmas Morning the first child to find the Christmas Pickle on the tree wins a prize (to be fair, it is always a game the whole family can play).
I like to read what happens in the lives of ordinary people
Take time for yourself. Schedule it it. Do something that you like, watch a movie, read a book, etc.
My fav holiday tradition is playing games at our Christmas gathering. I plan little games, like name as many Christmas Carols as you can. And players win small prizes.
I love tips on how to save money!
What cute earrings! So pretty!
1. I love reading all about new art and new things I can oggle! Mostly Etsy stuff… I. Am. Addicted!
2. Stress free holiday? Shop Online! I swear. I’ve been doing this for years! And it’s so much fun getting mail! I HATE Mall shopping during the holidays… Parking can be a pain in my butt!
3. Our Family tradition for the holidays is to do a White Elephant Gift Game! It’s like a contest where you can trade/steal/beg for a present in the batch. It can get pretty unruley and SO much fun!
The topic I like to most visit blogs for is decorating.
Thanks!
Stress free holidays – I would say to try to shop online if possible. I used to love to go to the mall, etc. but online shopping is much better.
My families favorite holiday tradition is just for all of our family to get together on Christmas Eve Night and eat- YUM.
I’m just going to leave one comment with all of my responses…is that OK?
1. I love to ready blog posts that some how tell me more about tthe person writing the post. I like information, but I especially like information that helps me to know the person better.
2. One way I find to relieve stress is to remind myself–and those close to me–that the most important thing about the holidays is having time to spend with those we love. This should trump all else, including wanting my house to be perfectly clean (it never will be!), having a new dress for the party (a new necklace might be cheaper!), or not having “enough” to buy all those presents (will they really remember it in six months?).
3. My immediate family has always opened gifts on Christmas Eve. This is such a fun and intimate time together before heading off to do the big Christmas party the next day. We also usually spend some time together with a nice meal and some good conversation.
When I read blogs…it depends on the mood…mostly I jusst like to hear how other women just handle doing it ALL and THEN have time to create such beautiful work and crafts (sort of like Martha Stewart…LOL!!)…
I love those earrings!!
my favorite tradition is letting all the kids open 1 gift at a time and taking turns. so fun to see their faces when they open the gifts
robbin
Love those earrings! What I most enjoy when I go blog surfing is seeing what others do creatively. I have always loved taking some kind of throwaway and making it into a keeper. I enjoy any blog that shares how-to’s or what their experience is in trying a new craft or technique. I’m a tatter, but I have a long history of crafts, reading, gardening, painting, and have even made a bit of jewelry so I never get bored when I’m blog-surfing.
My favorite Christmas tradition has gone by the wayside for lack of room but I used to make Christmas breakfast for my kids and I didn’t just make one special dish – it was a feast – waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, fruit, whatever I could manage. I used my tablecloth, best china and silver and even candles. It was just so much fun. Now all 4 kids have spouses and their own kids and my little house won’t hold them anymore, but I dream of the day when I have a bigger house and they can all come for Christmas breakfast (sometimes it was on Christmas Eve instead).
I love seeing people’s ideas for making all types of items: jewelry, cards, scrapbook pages, and other crafts. I also like finding new etsy shops!
If you’re into “Black Friday” shopping, and you go to Target, I have a great tip for avoiding long lines. Check out at the jewelry counter! I guess I’d better stop giving out that hint, or else it might slow me down!
I like reading about adoption and parenting in general, as well as ideas for crafts with kids.
Our favorite holiday tradition is having a Chanukah Party in July. This eliminates competition for time during the regular holiday season where in addition to xmas, we have lots of family birthdays to celebrate.
A tip for stress-free holiday times is to do your shopping online! No crowded stores, and the selection is great!
I love reading about great family traditions and getting ideas on what to do with my own family!
I like reading about a day in the life of the artist, whether they’re full time or not, and how they juggle their art with the rest of their life.
When surfing blogs, I love reading on new things that I can learn from – like travel, recipes, crafts, etc.
i mostly love to read blogs about makeup, beauty, cooking and jewelry. i’ve learned a lot from them!
for stress free shopping, i recommend shopping online or getting gift cards (although that’s not very personal) but can work in some situations.
