Welcome to the weekly giveaway. Last week’s comments were fabulous! I’m so inspired by all of you smart shoppers and the amazing bargains you’ve found! I also loved your honest and sometimes very amusing answers to the question on birthstones! Thanks to everyone for leaving such interesting and thoughtful comments.

This week’s giveaway is a sleek and sassy pair of leverback earrings. They’d be pretty with just about any outfit in your closet!

I’m calling them “Lil Black Dress” because I think they could be the earrings you reach for often – just like that little dress you can always count on when you need to look your best. The earrings feature three-dimensional “Daisy” beads in sterling silver, Swarovski Jet AB Crystals that flash glorious shades of blue, violet, and teal, and jet black Czech beads in a faceted teardrop shape. All metal embellishments & findings are sterling silver, including the “hammered” leverbacks.

Measurements: approximately 2″ long

  3. #1 musicals. i love them so much, i’m willing to fork out good money for tickets… which leaves me quite broke every now and then. =/

  4. #2 hmm… eggs? i love eggs, plus they’re used in cakes/cookies etc which i adore.

  5. Wee…It seems I’m the first to answer! I spend money on piano courses and buying it…if that counts. I’m a philatelist, so I trade with other stamp collectors. I love sketching. Basically it doesn’t cost me much, because I only need to have a sketchbook and a pencil.

  7. My biggest hobby money sucker outer is NEEDLEWORK. This is all encompassing since I am dumping beading, embroidery, cross stitch, crochet and sewing all in this catagory. I always have a sewing project going and bead embroidery. The others just creep in where they can nuzzle their nose into a gap.

  8. What food can’t I ever give up? … cheese…I could put some kind of cheese on just about everything I eat, except oatmeal.

  14. The one food I could never give up is strawberries. I love strawberries. I use them to make smoothies, put on ice cream, in cakes, jello, and eat them plain. Id be very upset if I ever had to give them up.

    The one food I would never give up would be vinegar… I guess that’s a condiment, but it’s edible so it’s food lol Even when I’m on my super strict diets I put vinegar on everything!

  21. The hobby I spend money on is crocheting and knitting. I love trying something new — the only rule I have is it must be a small item so I can finish it! Not a lot of free time with two little ones… lol. Thanks for the giveaway.

  22. The food I wouldn’t want to give up is… chicken? chocolate? cheese? I don’t know for sure, but it would probably start with “ch”. I love these earrings — so pretty!

  46. Hmm..the food I can’t give up is potatoes. I like them in every form and fashion that I’ve tried. Baked, fried, scalloped…you get the idea. 🙂
