Earrings for a Wordless Wednesday

It’s too hot to speak!

(Our weather guy says the “feels-like” temperature is 100 degrees! I would have been perfectly happy not knowing that.) πŸ˜‰

No matter! I’m going to distract myself with a bit of bling . . .

This first pair is made with Vintage Swarovski components and petal-shaped, 14K gold-filled earwires.

And this pair in sterling silver features a color scheme with the soothing coolness of an aqua blue sea . . .

Both pairs now available in my shop! πŸ™‚

Les Bijoux

Lately, I’m in the middle of a jewelry-making kick . . . sort of a bead binge! lol

I have several things finished and several more in various stages of completion. I’m particularly excited about a bracelet/earring set that I’m working on.

I need to take photos, but the weather is not cooperating – too dreary to highlight the true sparkle of some of my finished items!

For now though, I do have a couple of pairs of earrings to show . . .

This first pair is made with Vintage Swarovski Components – both the crystal beads and the bezel-set drops! The vintage findings are always so elegant. The color here is a warm golden topaz – full of sunshine!

A Drop of Honey

Next, I have these Glass “Bell” Flowers in a pretty shade of Tanzanite Violet/Blue. The over-sized kidney wire hoops allow the earrings to sway gracefully as you move.

Bluebells

Both pairs are currently available in the Bead Happily Ever After web store.

What are you up to this week? πŸ™‚

Earrings R Us

What can I say? I can’t seem to stop making these “bead woven” earrings. πŸ˜‰

~Southwest Serenade~

They differ from the other earrings I make in that this type is created with tiny beads and thread, instead of larger beads and metal wire!

As a die-hard purple-lover – I am way out of my “color” comfort zone here, but I’ve discovered that I absolutely LOVE this blend of matte turquoise and copper bronze.

The ear wires are made of brown niobium metal, which has a lovely reputation for being kind to sensitive ear lobes!

I have another pair in the works, but I’m itching to begin a special crochet project… Decisions, decisions!

What are you trying to fit into your schedule?

See You in the Spring

Well, by the time we meet here again on Monday, it *will* be spring!

I know . . . silly joke. (I’ve got a million of β€˜em!) πŸ˜‰

One rainy day this past week, I was longing for a little spring color – so I made earrings.

I’m calling these Violet Petals

And these are May Flowers

Both pairs are currently available on my website.

Watching the Mail

I keep waiting for my invitation to the big wedding across the pond!

Surely Prince William and Lady Kate will be sending me one any day now. πŸ˜‰

If they do, I’m ready for the festivities with these earrings!

Don’t they look like Sapphires and Platinum?

(click photo to enlarge)

I just finished them the other day and they feature Swarovski crystals in Sapphire Blue along with Czech Glass Silver Metallic Beads. The lever backs are sterling silver. Now available in my web shop!

Anyone else bothered by changes in weather? Lately, I seem to get a headache whenever the barometric pressure is high. What a nuisance!

Have a happy day πŸ™‚
