Giveaway – Bead Shopping Spree! — 69 Comments

  1. I like going camping. I go almost at the same lake every year because of the great view and shimmery water. And at night it’s like the whole universe is looking back at me….

  2. I can’t live without my books, there are so many people living inside them and waiting for me to meet them and say “hi!”

  3. Definitely pampering, MAJOR pampering in some fancy hotel. I like the outdoors and all but don’t want bugs bedding down with me.

  4. Hmm. I’ve never had a fancy pampering vacation. It’s just not the sort of thing my kind of people do (ie, very broke people). I’d love to try it, just once, for the experience!

On the other hand, when the weather’s good, and the setting’s sweet, there’s nothing on earth beats sleeping under the stars. Some of my clearest memories were made sleeping under the stars. So I guess I have to go with that.:)

  5. And I’m such a creature of comforts, there’s so much I’d hate to give up…but topping the list is my quiet time. There’s a comedian who says “Maybe I do have a fear of success, ’cause I’ve got a feeling achieving my full potential would reeeeeally cut in to my sittin’ around time.” I know just what she’s talking about. I need that time! It keeps me from going all Mr.Hyde on bad days.

  6. I want to be pampered please!

My daughter just informed me that because I pampered my husband all these years is the reason she does too much for her boys! PARDON ME!!! I wanted to say that I have been married 38 years and she has two short marriages behind her, so I go for the pampered Terry!! Anyway, if I am doing all that pampering, I wanna get some more besides the pampering back that Ter does.
    XX, Carol

  7. I do NOT want to live without the internet. I have so many acquaintances I would want to keep in touch with.

The few that have become “friends” with, I would correspond with by snail mail if I had to…I kept your address just in case.

    XX, Carol

  8. Tell me the most interesting place that you like to go near where you live that you go to often. Whether its a eatery, museum or just a park where you ponder the world.

  9. I NEED my books. Internet is nice, too, as is my knitting, but I would go absolutely nuts without books. I recently lost internet for three weeks and I was going through about a book every two days- and this is on top of working a full-time job.

  10. For a vacation, would you prefer pampering at a fancy hotel or camping with a sleeping bag under the stars?
Fancy hotel, for sure. I’mnot much of an outdoorsy-type person. I do like being outdoors, but I get eaten way too much by mosquitoes. And I really don’t like most bugs, so being outside is not my favorite thing to do. ^_^

  11. Besides your family, friends, and pets, what else would you hate to have to live without?
I’d hate to live without running water. I mean, showers. Toilets. Sinks. All things that I appreciate having! Especially the shower one!

  12. I like camping best, I believe. It’s a more unique experience, and looking at the constellations at night is one of the best things I know!

  13. Well, there are so many things I’m thinking about. But probably without a proper bathroom and everything where I can have water! Electricity, too. It’s too hard to imagine how to live with electricity and water inside my house πŸ™‚

  14. Though I could definitely live without a cell phone or even landline phone, (I hate talking on the phone), I would be lost without communication with the world. I would need something. Radio, TV, Internet, Newspaper, smoke signals.

  15. Pampered in a fancy hotel most def. I love camping, so I do it often. I usually never have the funds to “pamper myself”.

  16. I’d hate to live without the net. I’ve had to endure three months without it after a move before, and it was terrible.

  17. I’d definitely choose the fancy hotel! Running water is just one of those things…

  18. “For a vacation, would you prefer pampering at a fancy hotel or camping with a sleeping bag under the stars?”

Pampering! Room service, spa treatments, the works!

  19. “Besides your family, friends, and pets, what else would you hate to have to live without?”

THE INTERNET! It resolves fights, gives me information, is entertaining… it’s like a shopping mall, library, and experts right at my fingertips. I don’t know how we did anything before it LOL

  20. If I were paying for the vacation I would pick a sleeping bag under the stars, but if it were paid for I’d pick the fancy hotel! I know that both would be fun in different ways — as long as my family were with me!

    Thanks for the giveaway.

  21. Something I wouldn’t want to live without? You know that saying you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone… I guess I’d have to have it all taken away to see what I’d miss the most. Food, water and sleep would probably be the top three. lol…

  22. I’d sleep under the stars, but keep the flushing toilets from the hotel! beauty AND civilization!

I’d hate to live without..well…the first thing that comes to mind is..um…lip balm.

  23. Besides my family, friends and doggie, I would hate to live without all my wonderful books!

  24. I would love to be camping under the stars for a couple of days and then be pampered for a couple of days! Thanks, Cindi

  25. I will assume that food, water and shelter are a given.
I wouldn’t want to live without my photos, books and flowers.
    Thanks, Cindi

  26. I would be interested in seeing people’s quotes that mean a lot to them
or effect the way they live their life!
    Thanks, Cindi

  27. I’d go with the camping vacation…assuming there are real toilets somewhere …and bug spray – lots& lots of bug spray πŸ™‚

  28. What would I hate to live without? the list could be so long…going beyond the necessary for (modern) life…oxygen, water, food, electricity, indoor plumbing…I couldn’t go without art – mine or others …mostly me being able to create stuff…it’s the best outlet I have – helps me survive the everyday.

  29. blog ideas? hmm….not sure – but I love Halloween & it’s coming up – maybe something about your fave Halloween or something you may make for it.

  30. I actually couldn’t possibly choose between hotels and camping. And I go to extremes either way, too — I love the high-living, fancy, chocolate on the pillow hotels where you dress up to go to dinner, yet my partner had to talk me into buying a propane camp stove because I’d just as soon cook over the campfire.

That said, there’s a place on the central California coast where they rent “safari tents” — a large canvas tent with a king-size bed, a hardwood floor, a Persian rug and a space heater. That is my kind of place!

  31. I was going to say my laptop, but … after some thought, I have to say “time alone”. I get very unpleasant to be around if I’m forced to socialize every day for more than … say … a week. πŸ˜‰

  32. I love camping, but it would be really nice to lounge around in a fancy hotel and enjoy some spa treatments, instead of having to apply bug spray every few hours πŸ™‚

  33. I’m relatively new to beading, except for the crafts I made as a child. I would love to read a blog post of your recommended supplies and an easy tutorial for beginners πŸ™‚
