Giveaway – Origami Gift Set — 111 Comments

  1. Oh I would have to pick a hair stylist. I can do most of the other skills reasonably well, but my hair is oft times a challenge.

  2. favourite spice… would be cinnamon i suppose. it goes well with all things sweet & savoury… plus i did bake cinnamon rolls this morning, and i’ll be putting a good dose in my curry tonight!

  3. Only one… can’t I live like royalty or a celebrity for a day and have them all. πŸ˜€

I guess, The Cook, since it is an hourly struggle to eat like a diabetic should.

  4. I’d hire a chauffeur because I don’t know how to drive. It’d be great to have someone driving for me.
Great giveaway!!! I love all the prizes.

  5. I’d also choose to hire a hair stylist. Why? So that I can change my hairstyle every month. Let me tell you a secret…I have never changed my hairstyle before. It’s always a nice, clean ‘student look’. Shhh…Don’t tell anyone. =)

  6. Hands down, a maid! Of that list, a maid is the one that would be most useful to ME and not the rest of the family. Lets see, would she clean including cleaning the bathroom, laundry, dusting every nook and cranny AND do windows…I pick maid! Lets face it..cook? Everyone here can make a PBJ or pop something in the microwave so I know they won’t starve. Chauffeur..let them ride bikes. Hair stylist…nope..got that covered. Banana Clip is the name of my stylist.

So I pick maid and now I am dreaming of all the ME time I could have if I had a maid. Stopping that..its depressing.

  7. Seasoning or spice. Hmm…It depends on what I’m eating. If I’m eating kampung noodles, it’s best to use the oyster sauce. If I’m eating Maggi mee, I’ll definitely use Ajinomoto, although it’s not so good for health.

  8. Favorite spice or seasoning is kind of tough. I like salt mixtures. You know, the kind that has salt, pepper and garlic plus a bunch more. That is my meat seasoner and I put it in just about everything, but not cookies. I’m an uncomplicated cook, taught to be that way the first time my husband said “I don’t like cheese on my broccoli. I wish you would stop with all those fancy recipes”. Case closed.

Crystal says: Oh Carol, too funny! I’m laughing out loud here!

  9. I left a comment in your “Friday Favorites – Bookmarks” post. I just LOVE cute bookmarks! I’ve something to ask you : When somebody leaves a comment in your 3 other posts, does that mean that she/he has 3 more chances to win? Or is it counted as one entry (the 3rd chance)?

Crystal says: That’s a good question, Aik. Thank you for asking! πŸ™‚

You receive one chance for every comment you leave during the week – even if you leave a comment on a very OLD post from months ago (by looking in the archives). With the blog program, I can easily see all of the comments as they come in – so they are all counted. The only time a comment does NOT count is when it’s a comment that someone leaves simply to TELL me that they have already left a comment. It’s not necessary to do that, but if somebody does, it doesn’t add to their comment total. I hope I answered your question!

  10. Probably a cook- so I could eat more healthier meals and I could eat even if I don’t feel like cooking:p

  11. If you could hire one of the following, which would it be? A maid definitely … but I bet I’d rush around on a mad cleaning, tidying frenzy before she arrived anyway !!!

  12. What is your favorite spice or seasoning?
Cinnamon – even just the smell of it is delicious !

  13. I would hire a maid I guess. I would like to have someone to do all of cleaning while I lounge at the pool

  14. My favorite seasoning is garlic because I eat alot of Italian food and it always tastes wonderful with just the right amount of garlic

  15. I would definately hire a cook. Oh how LOVELY that would be. Just thinking about it makes me feel free!

  16. Oh my this was EASY lol a maid~! I am a mother of two little girls I work part time and a hubby who works full time and I also do online schooling. My poor house is a mess lol.

    Vanessa

  17. I would hire a cook so I could eat yummy foods all the time without having to do any work =D

  18. Hair stylist – I can never get my hair to do what I want it to do. Not that I think a hair stylist will be able to do it any better – my hair just ignores product and everything else.

  19. My favorite spice? Hmm…depends on the mood I’m in. Right now, it’s cayenne – a little hint of spice makes everything nice!

Unfortunately I think I’ve already commented on a lot of blog posts… : ( I’ll just have to keep a close eye open this next week or so. Hahaha!

Crystal says: Yes Chris, you can either come back during the week, or choose from 130 posts in the “archives” (located on the right side of the page) so you still have plenty of chances to comment for EXTRA entries in the giveaway! πŸ™‚

  20. That’s easy: a maid, in a heartbeat. I don’t mind driving, and I’m find with my hair tossed in a ponytail every day. But cleaning up after the kids? Way too tired by the end of the day. Ah, to have a maid . . . πŸ™‚

  21. I think I’d go with cumin as my favorite spice. I mean, what’s not to love? Just the smell of it makes me all kinds of happy.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  22. I think I’d have to go with the cook. Just because it means that it’d be one less thing for me to worry about (especially being a college student and all, eating well can disappear very quickly when tons of work is on the horizon!)

  23. hard question, a hair stylist
My hair is so hard to manage!
    This set is too cute!

  24. My favorite spice is smoked paprika. I’m learning to toast spices (not herbs) before using them in cooking as it deepens and/or changes their flavor…saw that on a t.v. cooking show.

  25. I would hire a maid. I commute by bike, just wear ponytails, and love to cook. But I will happily leave the cleaning to someone else.

  26. A maid. I enjoy driving, doing my own hair and cooking, so someone to clean up after me would be great.

  27. Without a doubt, a maid would be my first choice to hire!
Cleaning is my least favorite thing to do. Please enter me in your fabulous giveaway prize package drawing! Her work is lovely.
    Many thanks…..Cindi

  28. I don’t like to add salt to my food, but I love 6-Pepper! I would appreciate
being entered in this wonderful contest. Thanks, Cindi

  29. A hair stylist would be the best,
    To be available and free,
    I’d love a touch-up, or a cut,
    To feel better about me…

Not that we can’t use a maid,
    A cook and chauffeur too,
But ask my kids, I’m all of those,
So it makes no sense to have two!!

  30. ooo wow what a great prize! and fun contest!

hmm who would i hire? i think a maid for sure! i just hate to clean! anything to not have to mop and do dishes! lol

  31. favorite spice or seasoning? well depends – for savory foods i think its mrs dash original table seasoning. i can put it on anything! its great just using on chicken or poultry and baking too! nothing else needed! for baked/sweet goods , i love cinnamon! fresh of course!

  32. I know the first teacher!!!!!!! Obviously a maid. I like cleaning home but sometimes it becomes an obligation and it’s a little heavy.

I like driving, cooking (when the tasks of the house let me do it) and even I love change my hairstyle I hate the hours it can cost me… I don’t like going to the haidresser and lose all the morning…

    kisses!

  33. I said to you last day I love Kayo’s work, didn’t I???? It’s fantastic!

    Second question:

    Garlic, cardamon and curry!!!

  34. Oh, a hair stylist would be great! It takes alot of time to do my hair! I use a flat iron. If I don’t, it is so unruly! In the summer time, I like to wear it in a ponytail, If I had my own hairdresser she could put it up in cute styles. Also, I have a wedding to go to and she could fix it real pretty. Is that going to be the next giveaway!!?? My own hairstylist. lol thanks

  35. Pepper is my favorite seasoning. My food wouldn’t taste the same if I didn’t use it. I am not really a salt person, except on potatoes. Another week of great questions and posts!

  36. HIRE A MAID.

You can teach her to cook, clean and drive for you, so you are definitely getting your money’s worth πŸ˜‰

  37. I’d get a hairdresser. (Hopefully she can do makeup too!) I am a complete klutz when it comes to my hair; I can’t even make a straight braid. I like to go dancing. I can dress myself, but it would be nice to have someone else help me with hair!
