Special Delivery

All three ladies, who were selected in the Spring Bead Challenge prize drawings, have now received their beads!

The 1st prize went to Donna . . .

Caro chose these . . .

And Joyce requested these . . .

I received a lovely “thank you” note from each lady.

That really made my heart smile! πŸ˜€

The next challenge will have an Autumn theme. (Details to follow in early September!)

Have a great week, Kids! πŸ™‚

Hugs,

  1. I would love to see what they make with the beads that they won. They all chose unique beads and no-one duplicated any of the choices.

It is amazing how fast the year is going. I just got home from the Nebraska State Harley rally and it was in Beatrice. One of the things we did was to go see the original homestead document that Abe Lincoln signed 150 years ago. We also watched a short movie about the homesteaders and toured a 1 room school house that was used until 1967.
Now back to school and a geography test tomorrow. My niece and nephew watched the dogs and Artie never had an accident in the house. He is doing very well for only being a house dog 1 month.

Have a great Memorial Day, everyone and God Bless those who have and continue to serve our country.

  2. Hi Kelly,
I had a feeling you might take a bike trip over this long weekend. Sounds as if you had a great time. I would have especially enjoyed the historical part of the trip. πŸ™‚

Yay, Artie for behaving so well for his babysitters! I’ll bet your niece and nephew loved taking care of the dogs.

    Good luck on your test!

  3. Hi Brenda,
I don’t know who is more excited, the winners or me just hearing how delighted they are to win! πŸ˜€

I’m going to go to the previous post now to reply to your other comment! πŸ˜‰

  4. Brenda, you are so right!! I love looking at them. I even resisted the urge to mix them in with my other beads. I wanted to keep them separate so I have them in a plastic organizer marked “Crystal.” That way when I work with them and make something, I am reminded I got them from her.

Thanks for posting what Caro and Joyce selected. Looks like Joyce already has Autumn on her mind. (I have those brown ones.)
