See You in the Spring

Well, by the time we meet here again on Monday, it *will* be spring!

I know . . . silly joke. (I’ve got a million of ‘em!) 😉

One rainy day this past week, I was longing for a little spring color – so I made earrings.

I’m calling these Violet Petals

And these are May Flowers

Both pairs are currently available on my website.

See You in the Spring — 5 Comments

  1. I hope everyone had a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day!! We actually set a record for the warmest on record here in St. Louis it was officially 83 degrees. Now we have rain in the forecast for the next 5 days.

I agree with Carol, this blog feels like a nice little family. I enjoy reading what everyone has to say, and the people here are sweet to each other. I truly do look forward to see what everyone is doing.
Crystal’s crafts are unique and beautiful. I love the colors of the earrings you made today. I’m not much of a crafter, but I attempt it with my niece, and I’m glad there are craft kits that make it easy.

Today’s celebrations (I’m not sure why I get such a kick out of these, but I only post them here). I think it gives me something to look forward to during the long winter months. My husband enjoys some of the food holidays such as pie day too.

3/18 Awkward Moments Day (I’m not sure this should be a cause to celebrate, but someone got it on the calendar)

    3/18 Oatmeal Cookie Day

I don’t normally post the weekend holidays since everyone is so busy but there are 2 important ones this Saturday.

3/19 National Chocolate Caramel Day (I will be making mine a Lindt)

3/19 National Quilting Day (for all the talented crafters on this blog)

  2. Thanks Kellie
March 19, National Quilting Day. I am marking this one on my calendar to comment on later.

Crissie, I love these earrings you are making and the colors are so delicate. very spring.

My boys are going to St. Louis this weekend. They have a NAGA competition (Ju Jitsu). I’ll be sure to tell them they are headed for rain. So on the other side of that, well, Terry and I will be alone with the dogs. A blessed weekend!!

The weather in Northern Indiana will be in the 50’s and I think the backyard poo-poo will call my name. I made a point of cleaning when it was still frozen, but well, you all don’t want to know. I always get energized when the weather breaks to spring and I start listing all the garden chores to do..I love it!!

Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and gets a little fresh air.
    xx, Carol

  3. Lovely as always!

Today i received a thing-a-ma-jig for making wire jewelry etc…i asked hubby to get it from ebay.i want to recycle wiring and do wire writing for cards etc.Hehe i luv trying new things 🙂

  4. Carol, I completely understand about the backyard poop situation! With 3 dogs, it can get out of hand very quickly. Good luck!

Crystal, beautiful earrings! Violet petals is my favorite.

I also enjoy keeping up with Crystal’s “blog family”! Everyone has a unique perspective that I look forward to hearing about.
I hope eveyone has a great weekend!
