Friday Favorites

I’ve just realized that I haven’t been repeating any of the older “Friday Favorites” posts, so I chose one for today. 🙂

But, before I mention the link, I’d like to take this chance to thank you all so much for sticking with me through these summer weeks.

I know you have other things going on and I really appreciate that you make time to visit here.

Have an absolutely lovely weekend, Kids!

  1. I remember doing the S & H Stamps…Many times, my mom would let
me keep the money! Also, my Aunt had the revolving aluminum tree.
    Amazing…Thanks, Cindi

  2. I still have some of the old green stamps books, my mom gave them to me. We used to paste them in the books together when I was little. We never had a silver tree with a color wheel, but our best friends did, I always thought it was cool. I never made a chain with gum wrappers, I do remember collecting wacky packages. Our whole neighborhood collected those.

I’m wishing everyone a Lucky Friday the 13th and Happy National Kool-aid day. My favorite flavor is cherry. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.

  3. O Man!! I am so stuck in the picture on this post.

See me!! I’m waaaaaay out there in the water on my stomach floating on a raft, with one hand dragging in the water, slathered up with Panama Jack dark tanning oil. Totally in my element..sun and water.

    O, heaven.

  4. My Mother collected S & H Green Stamps for many years. I actually found a couple of books at my house in a box of old junk! Too funny.

  5. ooooh, what fun we could have sitting in those chairs drinking a little umbrella-type drink and having happy conversation!!! hope you’re having a great weekend!! xox, 🙂

  6. OMG!!! My parent’s first Christmas tree was little Charlie Brown silver tinsel one. I loved it and have it stored away for safe keeping. No color wheel though. Gosh…I love anything to do with Christmas!!! You made my heart sing just then!!!

    xoxo’s
    Paulette

  7. I really enjoyed seeing the gumwrapper chains! I used to make tons of those – funny because I really HATE gum. I wonder what I did with all that gum… I can’t really remember that part.
