You may not believe it… but I, Crystal, – lover of all beads, baubles and bling – will sometimes skip wearing a necklace and/or bracelet during the hottest days of summer!
I know!!! I can hear you gasping. lol
I must admit I feel a little bare without a few of pieces of jewelry, but if it’s terribly muggy, I opt for earrings only – so in that case – they have to be noticeable.
This week’s giveaway is a good example . . .

I’ve used bright, summery colors and a variety of vintage and contemporary glass beads, with Swarovski crystal accents. All findings are sterling silver. The earrings measure 2-1/4″ long (including the artisan-crafted, sterling silver ear wires).

What is the dumbest thing you’ve ever seen someone do?
My answer would be…
One lovely summer day, as we were working in our yard, we saw our neighbor jump onto his son’s tiny tricycle. The man is about 6 ft. tall, and his knees were up to his chin as he wobbled for balance . . . and then proceeded to pedal as fast as he could! Within seconds, the tricycle toppled over and he landed in a heap on the ground. He had broken his ankle!
We drove him to the emergency room and he came home on crutches. We felt sorry for him, but couldn’t help wondering – what on earth was he thinking to try something so dumb?

I was at the auto parts store buying parts and a man was spraying that automatic car starter under the hood. You are supposed to only use a little bit, but that guy just kept spraying. When he tried to start the car it exploded, he made a bomb out of his car. Thank goodness no-one was hurt.
I’m going to tell you, instead, the dumbest thing my HUSBAND has ever seen anyone do, because it’s more interesting.
His old office had a large plate glass window at one divide of a four-way interection in a hall. And one fine day- for reasons still unknown, a worker came running at full tilt down the hall…
..saw the glass…
…slowed enough to show he was thinking about turning..
and then committed, picked up speed, and charged THROUGH THE GLASS WALL. Right through. Glass everywhere. Just kept runnin’.
Seriously. One foot to the right, he’d have missed it. I mean, just WHY?
Those are most definitely feel pretty earrings!!
Kinda hard to come up with the dumbest thing off the top of my head.
I watch funniest videos on TV and am always amazed at the stupid stuff people are caught on tape doing.
And then there’s that show that the kids like to watch where they show clips of stupid stuff criminals do.
Well, I didn’t see this, but believe me I heard about it from EVERYONE!
When Corey played football, one of the mothers came to a game with her arm in a cast. Seems they had a party the week before and she decided to jump off the room into their pool and missed.
Now I am off to work and I am sure a bunch of dumbest things I ever saw are going to pop in my mind!

Hi! Pretty earrings! Well, the one thing that sticks out in my mind is this.
One time I went with my parents to eat at Golden Corral. I saw a worker spraying Windex on the glass windows that surround the Salad Bar. I could see Windex spraying on to the lettuce and salad fixings below and I thought how stupid she was. I was glad that I ate before I saw her spraying the glass. LOL

One of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen someone do is one of my friends walk into a glass wall, even after someone had told us to watch out before!
I used to work at Kroger and I saw a man walk in with pants about 4 sizes too big on. He walks to the meat department and starts shoving steaks down his pants. He then tried to walk out of the store. Meat was falling out of his pant legs. Needless to say, he was caught and arrested. Yes, some people are THAT stupid.
Just this past weekend we were in the city, parking on a residential street and this man was cutting his grass with hedge trimmers, the people-powered kind with the long blades. He had to lean over of course which added to the view. We took pictures since his back was turned. How on earth he thought he was going to finish the job I have no clue.
I’m not calling my mother dumb but…we once pulled into a gas station and she realized the gas tank was on the other side. So she jumped back in the car, made a circle to the other side of the gas pumps and got it. The tank was still on the other side. She jumped back in the car again and made a third trip to the other side of the pumps. Again – the tank was on the wrong side. She got so frustrated that she drove off and started looking for a different gas station!

…Your story was funny. I was picturing that guy from Laugh In, that used to fall over on his tricycle! Hee hee hee! … Gosh, I can’t think of anything really dumb that I’ve seen someone do in person, but the things they do on some of those reality shows, just blows my mind, like eating live bugs and getting locked into tanks with horrid creepy crawlers. The dumbest thing I’ve seen some do is this guy skate to school and starts trying to show off when my friend was walking by and he fell and twisted his ankle.
The dumbest thing that I have ever seen someone do is walk smack dab into a street sign while reading a book…lol
