Ok, I am totally trying the hot water trick.

But oh, how I cry at the thought of canned frosting. It is wildly inferior to homemade, and homemade is so easy! Curse our prepackaged culture!

I love tips. I’m a tip junkie; thank you for my daily fix. I could hug you for tip #2. My daughter tossed a handful of Cherrios down our floor register this very morning. One of my gardening tips is for killing weeds. If you’re like me (and find yourself boiling bottles every other day) and have some left over boiled water handy, it makes for a great weed killer. Be careful though, anything that boiling water touches is gonna be a goner. I find it works great for cracks in the driveway where those pesky weeds start up in the Spring. It’s not the most convenient method I’m sure, but it is one way to do it without chemicals.

Carol is right… I feel like a total dufus having not even come close to thinking of any of those LOL! Especially the deviled egg one… now I’m hungry, too :/

I feel guilty, I need to add a tip! Give back and all hehe uhmmm… well I keep bread/milk bag clips in a magnetic spice container I got at the dollar store on my fridge (like this: http://blog.craftzine.com/diyspicerack.jpg ).

I use them to seal up bags, whatever needs to be air-tight. I also have one full of twist ties, one with wet naps, and one with elastics. You could put one of those bread bag clips on the deviled egg bag to hold the twist in it LOL!

Great tips!! I’ll have to remember the one about the envelopes; I am forever sealing the envelope and forgetting to put in something important (like the check to pay a bill!)
